Fyl pays for the most breakdowns in one tuk-tuk journey ever, a steep $2!

The Danish colonial buildings from yesteryear, with big holes in the roofs from colonial uprising. WAR.

Fyl looks at another colonial building left in disrepair. Most cities in Asia take pride in their European architecture, but not this one!

Fyl is grumpy about tipping the man who almost killed us in his tuktuk.

This is where we got our washing done, at 'Laundry Angel' More like Laundry Cat pee.

Jalan Jaksa, the street where we stayed. Tourism has dropped so much since the bombings that we saw only a few other travelers around, quite sad for a capital city.

We ate out on the streets for 50 pence a pop, and met some nice people there! This woman is an English teacher and Fyl's new friend!

Cooking our dinner. Is it just me, or does it seem like Fyl has wangled into a lot of pictures this time?

We tried to get a pic of a train whizzing by with millions on the roof, but this was the best we got. The trains are bursting with people, and badly vandalised. Or vandalized if you are Fyl writing this.
