Bemo Corner in Bali. The locals leave Hindu offerings all over the ground to appease the spirits. We accidentally kicked a fair few over during our stay.

90% of the people in Bali carry surf boards (probably just to look cool).

2% of the people here carry bodyboards (also probably just to look cool). This picture was taken right outside of our bungalow.

Kuta Beach.

Unlike anywhere in SE Asia, there's a lot of lifeguards at Kuta Beach... the waves can be big and there are strong cross currents that can be really dangerous.

There were DVD booths on the Gili beach which you could sit inside, watch a movie and eat popcorn.

Waiting for a ferry to take us back to Bali from Lombok. The locals sell fresh fruit.

Twelve hours later on the ferry. Although its only around a 4 hour ride, the ferry sat in the harbour waiting to pick us up (and then later to drop us off) for hours.

DOLPHINS! They swam along side the ferry, but unfortunately this was the best picture we got.

Bali again. It was good to be back.

Most of Indonesia is Muslim, but Bali is almost entirely Hindu and the locals prepare these offerings every day.

Michelle makes a new friend in our bathroom. You can't tell by the picture, but it was as big as her hand.

The many vendors on the beach sell fresh fruit and drinks, and give massages, manicures, and pedicures. They'll even shave your legs for a pretty penny.
