Albuquerque June 20 - 22, 2008
An adobe hairdressers!
Cute little door in the wall.
We went up a 2mile long tram car, OUR EARS POPPED!
You can apparently see 20% of Albuquerque from up here!
Cable car of impending DOOM!
Fyl's grandma and grandpa's house, I just realised we didn't get a picture of them :(
On the way to Acoma Sky city.
A old Indian family became so hungry they jumped from this rock. It is now seen as bad luck.
There was nobody for miles around!
This is the sky village from afar.
See the wee adobe houses?
The Spanish invaded and built this catholic church on the reservation.
The Indian families live up here without running water or electricity, much like they did in 1150 A.D.
The 367ft high mesa over looking the dry land.
Fyl's Mom and Dad walking down from the mesa.
The Acoma tribe name the rock formations. This one looks like 2 people kissing!
BIG ROCKS.
The Indians living here all have long black hair in plaits, and lots of handmade silver jewelery dangling from their ears.
Fyl and Michelle eat Blue flavoured SNOW CONES!
How could anyone not love this man?
